– Head to a rose garden for beautiful blooms in every color

– If you have a pet, take them for a walk and get some pics of them enjoying the great outdoors

– Take pictures at a playground – the colors and shapes make for an interesting backdrop

– Embrace the wet weather and dress up your little one in a fun raincoat and boots and take pictures playing in the rain

Park Picture Ideas

My personal favourite is the local park, as they make a perfect backdrop. So many of them look so simple but its a place for full of smiles and laughter. Other park picture ideas to try include hide and seek peek-a-boo, butterfly chasing. 

Your own garden as a similar joy to it.

Indoor Spring Photoshoot Ideas

If you’re spring is full of April showers, don’t stress. There are plenty of fun getting wet. Alternatively, stay warm indoors with these ideas.

– Go to a local children’s museum and take pics among the exhibits  there are so many cool things to use as props

– Take pictures of your little ones in the kitchen helping you bake, or have a photoshoot with finished goodies

– Milk bath tub photos: fill up a bathtub with milk and flowers (or any other props you’d like) for some adorable shots.

– Tea party photoshoot – set up your favourite tea set in a pretty location, then take pictures of you enjoying it!

– If you have a fireplace, take pictures with the flames going in the background

Rain Boots

You really can’t beat kids splashing in puddles. It’s just too much fun, as a mum, watching him all excited, sneaky out his next puddle to conquer. I love getting him all wrapped up and taking him out in the rain.

Umbrella Prop

There’s something about an umbrella and the different ways kids find to use it. Whether it be about a hiding spot or just the best accessory for that perfect outfit.

(If only he could figure out how to use it.)

Bubbles

What kid doesn’t like bubbles! It’s ridiculous I think they see the tube and just run for it. They love to chase them, they’ll hunt them, they catch them, smash them, whatever your kids favourite activity to do. Just have fun!

Swing Shot

There’s something about a swing, whether it be a good old-fashioned one or a pretty flower one. Don’t miss the opportunity to capture those magical moments and smiles with your little one.
