52 Week Challenge- Week 7 Reflection

Photo to be submitted betweenJan 5th- Jan 12th.

What do I mean by Reflections?

This week has a double meaning and feel free to pick either or both.  It’s been a little stormy here this week and I’ve been reflecting on my last year as a photographer. What I learned and what I’d like to learn next.

So this week I’d like you to challenge yourself by showing a new perspective via reflections. Find some puddles or a brilliant shiny surface.

Don’t feel like adventuring out into the cold. That’s find, why not take a more thoughtful approach and find someone reflecting and take a deep portrait of them.

Challenge: Find some reflection

Technical bit:

How to take great photo’s of reflections.

Find a unique reflective surface. Obviously, mirrors, but why not try water, glass, polished metal, ice, coated plastic.

Get creative with symmetrical reflections

It’s all about angles.

Get down low for puddles.

Reflections are a great way to add a dash of mystery and some extra style to your photos, however refracting is so much fun.

Don't have a crystal sphere. Here check out this one. It's great for some fun photography.
