Why choose me?

When it comes to my photography, I’m a bit like Scrat from Ice Age. I’m been called determined, aspirational, and inspiringly creative, when it comes to my self-taught approach to improving my own photography skills. Over the past 10 years of learning, I’ve found the good, the bad and the damn right ugly approaches to learning the basics of photography.

I’m here to refine all of that information and 10 years of making mistakes into 5 simple and concise video tutorials to save you 100’s of hours crawling through youtube and the web and still make fabulous photo’s.

This mini course is for you if.....

  • You enjoy taking photo’s but your results are a hit and miss.
  • You’re confused and overwhelmed with all the different settings
  • You want to be able to do all your photography, editing and sharing straight from your phone.
  •  You want to learn the foundations of photography light to ensure your photos are suitable lit.

Here's what my other students thought and how far they've come

Robyn's helped me take my photography to the next level. She made me think about my photos rather than just snapping away. I now look at something and think that would be a great photo, rather than taking lots of photos and then realising I been lucky to get a good photo. I'd never edited anything before and now I love editing photos and can do it so quickly.
Over the last 14 weeks Robyn's challenges have helped me understand how to use the right light for natural exposure. I'm more conscious of where I stand now and also timings, as my main subjects are my daughter, my dog & our marine tank; timing has been something I need to be very mindful of. She also recommended the Aviary app for me to use alongside, to enhance & adjust and I've found this really useful. I have also become aware of various composition tools such as how lines play an important role in my photography. So when I go on holiday any horizon pictures I take I now know will be straight. Robyn's smartphone tips for everyday photography have been crucial as I only use my Samsung 7.
